Easy Guide On Using TikTok Sounds

TikTok sounds play a fundamental role in being successful on TikTok. From adding a trending sound effect in the video to lip syncing, music plays an important part.
There are three ways to add music to your video:

• TikTok Library
• Using for You Page
• Create original TikTok Sounds
  

TikTok Library

Step 1:

Open TikTok and tap on “+”  

Step 2:

Tap “Add sound”

Search TikTok Library and select your song. You can also select sound category-wise.

Step 4:

You can also select sounds from your phone by tapping on “My sound.”

Step 5:

Select your audio from your phone. 

Step 6:

Once the sound is selected, tap the red circle recording button and start recording your video.

After recording, tap the checkmark icon

Step 8:

You will have editing options; tap “Next”

Add trending hashtags and descriptions. 

Then tap “Post.” 

Add TikTok sounds using “For You Page”

If you are looking at the TikTok feed and you like background music in the random video, and your want to add the same sound to your content, do this:

Step 1:

Tap on “Add sound”

Step 2:

Tap “Use this sound”

Step 3:

Once music appears on the recording screen, tap the red circle button to record your video.

Note: The rest of the steps will be the same as mentioned in the previous method.

Create original TikTok sounds

Step 1:

Open TikTok Tap “+“ to create a video

Step 2:

Record your video and tap the checkmark icon

Step 4:

Tap the microphone icon to “Record” your audio, and you can also add any effect if you want at this phase.
