Creating engaging TikTok image carousels is one thing—posting them at the perfect time for your audience is another. If you’ve ever crafted the ideal carousel only to post it when your followers are asleep, or struggled to stay on top of daily uploads during meetings and tight deadlines, you’re not alone.
Managing TikTok content—especially across multiple accounts—can quickly become overwhelming. That’s exactly why smart scheduling is no longer a nice-to-have; it’s essential. With the right tools, you can batch-create your content, optimize timing for maximum engagement, and never scramble to post again.
Whether you’re a solo creator or part of a busy agency team, this video shows you how to schedule TikTok image carousels in advance, streamline your workflow, and boost your reach without the burnout.
Start by heading to your ContentStudio Dashboard. In the top menu, click on “Compose” and select “Social Post” to begin creating your TikTok content.
If you manage multiple TikTok profiles, this step is perfect for you. Simply choose the TikTok account(s) where you want to publish the post.
On the right sidebar, click on the AI Caption Generator. You can generate up to 3 caption variations with customizable tone, hashtags, and word count. Pick the version you like, copy it or drop it directly into the editor. You can enhance your caption using bold, italic, emojis, or even include UTM links for tracking.
Click “Add Media” to upload new images from your device, or select from your existing files in the shared Media Library. This is where you build your TikTok carousel.
Choose “Direct Publishing via API” for seamless posting. Set the Post Type to Image Carousel. Then, add a title, adjust visibility settings, and toggle options like Auto Music and Enable Comments as needed.
If the post needs review, click “Send for Approval” instead of scheduling it right away. This lets your team review and approve the content before it goes live.
You can choose from multiple scheduling options:
Decide whether to post at the same time for all accounts or set a custom time for each. Once your date and time are selected, click “Schedule” to lock it in.
Before diving into the step-by-step process of scheduling your TikTok image carousels, it's essential to understand the technical requirements to ensure your posts meet TikTok's standards.
