Book a free callPinterest usernames must be between 3 and 30 characters. Only letters, numbers, and underscores are allowed. Spaces, hyphens, and periods are not permitted. The practical effective range for a memorable username is 5 to 15 characters.
No. Pinterest does not allow periods in usernames. Only underscores (_) are permitted as separators between words. This differs from Instagram and Facebook, which allow periods. Use an underscore where you would otherwise place a period: @jane_doe instead of @jane.doe.
Type the username directly into Pinterest's search bar preceded by @. You can also go to pinterest.com/username directly in a browser if the profile exists and is public, it will appear. Pinterest's People search also returns results for usernames and display names that match the search term.
Pinterest does not enforce a waiting period between username changes. You can change your username at any time through Settings → Edit profile. Note that your old username becomes available for other accounts immediately after you change it if you want to reclaim it, you may not be able to if another account registers it first.
