Later pricing 2026: Plan, tiers, and team costs explained

Agorapulse pricing starts at $79 per user per month, billed annually, but the starting price doesn’t tell the whole story. As your team grows, the cost can increase quickly, especially when you add more users, connect more than the 10 included profiles, or choose paid add-ons.
One detail that can easily affect your budget is how Agorapulse charges for users and profiles separately. Even with three users on your plan, you still get only 10 included profiles to share, not 30. This means your actual cost depends on both the number of people who need access and the number of social accounts your team manages.
This guide breaks down Agorapulse’s plans, additional charges, and cancellation rules to help you estimate your annual costs. It also compares them with ContentStudio to show how a different pricing model could give your team more flexibility without stretching your budget.
Agorapulse sells four plans: three self-serve plans that charge per user, and a quote-based Custom plan. The table shows the cost for one user on each, which is the starting point for every team calculation.
| Plan | Per user per month, annual billing | Per user per month, monthly billing | One user for one year | Included profiles | Data retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $79 | $99 | $948 | 10, shared | 6 months |
| Professional | $119 | $149 | $1,428 | 10, shared | 12 months |
| Advanced | $149 | $199 | $1,788 | 10, shared | 24 months |
| Custom | Quote | Quote | Quote | Unlimited | 24 months |
Source: checked on 29 October 2026 on agorapulse.com/pricing and Agorapulse’s help center article on per-user pricing. Annual rates are monthly equivalents of a subscription billed upfront for 12 months.
Two details shape everything that follows. Each extra user is billed at the same rate as the first, and the 10 profile slots belong to the account, not to each person.
Billing frequency is only part of the comparison. Our Sprout Social pricing breakdown shows how another per-seat model changes the annual cost for different team sizes.
The lower rates assume you commit to 12 months, so how you pay changes the cost of Agorapulse by hundreds of dollars per user. The pricing page labels the discount “Save up to 20%”, but the displayed prices say something more precise.
| Plan | Saving per user per year | Savings vs 12 monthly payments | Monthly billing costs this much more |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $240 | 20.2% | 25.3% |
| Professional | $360 | 20.1% | 25.2% |
| Advanced | $600 | 25.1% | 33.6% |
Advanced is the plan where the label falls short. The $600 saving shown on the page matches the arithmetic, so only the percentage is understated.
Each step up adds specific tools, and several features that teams expect at the entry level start higher. The sections below show what each plan adds and where it stops.
Standard is described as built for social media managers handling everything themselves. It includes a unified content calendar, a basic ROI report, white-label reporting, an AI writing assistant, and a mobile app, with 6 months of data retention.
Internal approvals, assignments, and team reports require a higher plan.
Professional adds link in bio, product tagging, calendar notes, ad-comment monitoring and replies, assignments for comments, messages and posts, team performance reports and simple approval workflows. Live chat support and a design-tool integration also start here, and retention grows to 12 months. A team that needs internal sign-off cannot stay on Standard.
If approvals are the reason you need a higher tier, use our Planable pricing breakdown as another reference when comparing the cost of that workflow.
Advanced adds labels, saved replies, automated moderation rules, bulk actions, 5 shared content calendars, advanced and ads reports, ROI analysis, and competitor benchmarking with 6 tracked competitors. It also brings bulk approval of posts, CSV bulk scheduling of up to 200 posts, an automation-tool integration, and 24 months of retention.
One detail needs care before you buy it for automation. Advanced promotes automated moderation rules, yet the detailed table limits Standard, Professional, and Advanced to one free rule per profile with one trigger condition, and only Custom is unlimited. The exact allowance is worth confirming in writing.
Custom adds unlimited profiles, SSO, custom roles, multi-step approval workflows, historical data import, API access, sentiment filtering, AI reply suggestions, and a dedicated Customer Success Manager. No price, minimum user count, or discount is published.
Every self-serve Agorapulse bill is built from users and profiles, and the two grow independently. Reading them separately is the fastest way to estimate your real cost.
This meter rises with every person who needs access, at the full plan rate. The totals below use annual rates and exclude extra profile charges, other add-ons, and taxes. Teams comparing how per-user and per-plan models scale can find more in our guide on how to choose a social media management tool.
| Paid users | Standard | Professional | Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $948 | $1,428 | $1,788 |
| 3 | $2,844 | $4,284 | $5,364 |
| 5 | $4,740 | $7,140 | $8,940 |
| 10 | $9,480 | $14,280 | $17,880 |
This meter rises with every connected account beyond the 10 included. Agorapulse’s pricing page displays extra-profile prices of $10 and $15 per month, but the page text reviewed does not clearly map them to annual and monthly billing. Confirm the applicable rate before purchasing. Calculations below use $10 per extra profile per month as an assumption.
Connected accounts on most major networks count toward the limit, including company pages and personal profiles. Ad accounts, analytics connections, and third-party tool integrations do not.
X profiles purchased through X Lite or X Plus are also excluded from the ordinary profile allowance and are billed through their own add-ons.
A team of three on Professional with 20 profiles shows both meters at work. The users cost $119 × 3 × 12 = $4,284, and 10 extra profiles at $10 a month add $10 × 10 × 12 = $1,200, for $5,484 a year, or $457 a month.
This is an illustrative total, not a confirmed quote: it assumes extra profiles cost $10 each per month on annual billing.
Beyond users and profiles, several products carry their own prices or no public price at all. The table lists what Agorapulse’s pages show.
| Add-on | What it adds | Public price |
|---|---|---|
| X Lite | Scheduling and publishing for one X profile | $29 per profile per month |
| X Plus | Publishing, inbox and reports for one X profile | $69 per profile per month |
| Advanced Listening | Wider brand and topic monitoring, sold through sales | Not published |
| Advocacy | 50 advocates and unlimited campaigns per add-on | Not published |
| Extra competitors | One additional tracked competitor per add-on | Not published |
When comparing platforms, check which extras are included in each subscription. Our Agorapulse vs Sprout Social comparison covers the wider feature differences.
Three details change how these look on a quote. The X prices appear on a help center page, while the pricing page shows only a contact option, so a buyer reading just the pricing page never sees them.
Advanced Listening has no public price on the pricing page, so exclude it from any confirmed total until you receive a quote. Standard and Professional include one tracked competitor, while Advanced includes six. Custom allowances depend on the contract. Anyone who tracks more pays per extra competitor, so the “competitor benchmarking” line on the Advanced card does not mean unlimited tracking.
The real cost of Agorapulse depends on contract terms as much as on list prices, and a missed deadline can add a year of fees. The rules below come from Agorapulse’s help center and terms of service, last revised in September 2026.
The commitment depends on the plan and how you pay. Only the organization Owner can cancel a subscription. Custom and Manual plans require contacting the Customer Success Manager or support.
| Arrangement | Commitment | How to stop it |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly plan | Month-to-month, renews automatically | Cancel any time and stay committed only for the month already charged |
| Annual plan | 12 months billed upfront, renews a year after the start date | Cancel to stop the next renewal, with a reminder email one week before |
| Custom plan | Contract term | Written notice at least 60 days before renewal |
Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not remove the current term’s payment commitment. Annual self-service subscriptions are paid upfront for 12 months.
Refunds are narrower than “cancel anytime” suggests. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable, and access runs to the end of the billing period.
An annual self-service plan may qualify for a partial refund if you cancel within 30 days of a renewal date, and this does not cover first-time purchases. The amount is not stated. The terms separately promise a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees when you end the agreement over an Agorapulse breach that stays uncured after written notice.
Removing a user or a profile from the organization does not remove the paid seat or slot from the subscription. The purchased quantity must also be reduced in the subscription settings, or the charge continues.
The reverse also catches teams. Removing an add-on that is still in use triggers a usage overage, and checkout stays blocked until quantities match. On annual plans, removing an add-on earns a prorated credit toward the next payment, not cash back.
The prices of Agorapulse do change. The terms require 30 calendar days’ written notice of changes to plans or fees, during which you can cancel or change plans. After a cancellation, the previous rate may not be available, and reactivation uses the pricing in force at that time.
The same two-meter model feels very different depending on how many people and how many profiles you have, so this section walks through four situations.
One user pays $948 a year on Standard with 10 included profile slots. Optional products such as X access and Listening can still add to the total.
Three people with 10 profiles pay $2,844 on Standard or $4,284 on Professional when approvals and assignments are needed. Agorapulse’s model is at its best here, because adding people does not require buying profiles.
Profile count sets the bill. Three users on Professional managing 25 profiles pay $4,284 for users plus $1,800 for 15 extra profiles, which comes to $6,084 a year. Agencies that expect to keep growing will eventually need a Custom quote for unlimited profiles.
If you are comparing tools for the same client workload, our Sendible pricing breakdown provides another view of the cost of managing 25 profiles with a three-person team.
Ten users cost $14,280 on Professional and $17,880 on Advanced before extras, and SSO, custom roles, and multi-step approvals sit in Custom. At this size, the contract matters more than the rate card.
If Hootsuite is also on your shortlist, our Hootsuite vs Agorapulse comparison covers the differences beyond subscription cost.
When both team size and profile count grow, the two charges accumulate. ContentStudio Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users and workspaces with 25 social accounts for $1,188 a year. See our Agorapulse alternative for growing teams for a closer look at the pricing difference.
The difference becomes clearer when you price the whole team. ContentStudio includes users within its plans rather than charging the full plan rate for every person, while Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users. Here is how the annual costs compare for the configurations below.
ContentStudio charges a base plan price with included users. Advanced charges separately for additional users, while Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users. Its lists Standard at $19, Advanced at $49, and Agency Unlimited at $99 per month on annual billing.
Standard includes 5 social accounts and 1 user. Advanced includes 10 accounts, 2 workspaces, and 2 users, with extra users at $10 a month and extra accounts at $5 a month. Agency Unlimited includes unlimited users and workspaces and starts with 25 accounts. Full details are on the ContentStudio pricing page.
The table compares ContentStudio configurations covering the stated users, profiles, and approval needs. Add-on assumptions are identified below.
| Situation | Agorapulse option | Agorapulse yearly | ContentStudio option | ContentStudio yearly | Annual difference |
| 1 person, up to 5 profiles | Standard | $948 | Standard | $228 | $720 |
| 3 people, 10 profiles, approvals | Professional | $4,284 | Advanced + 1 extra user* | $708* | $3,576* |
| 5 people, 10 profiles, approvals | Professional | $7,140 | Advanced + 3 extra users* | $948* | $6,192* |
| 5 people, 20 profiles, approvals | Professional + 10 profiles* | $8,340* | Agency Unlimited | $1,188 | $7,152* |
| 10 people, 20 profiles, approvals | Professional + 10 profiles* | $15,480* | Agency Unlimited | $1,188 | $14,292* |
Agorapulse totals with extra profiles assume $10 per extra profile per month. ContentStudio Advanced totals with additional users assume $10 per extra user per month. Confirm the applicable add-on charges before purchasing. Totals exclude taxes and other optional products.
These figures compare the stated users, profiles, and approval needs—not identical feature sets. ContentStudio Advanced includes approval workflows, a social inbox, competitor analytics, and bulk scheduling. Listening is optional on both platforms and excluded from the table. A feature-by-feature view is available in ContentStudio vs Agorapulse.
Agorapulse prices people and profiles separately, and most surprises come from watching only one of them. A solo manager or a small team with up to 10 profiles gets a clear deal, while a growing agency pays on both meters at once, with X, competitors, and the quote-based tools stacked on top.
The simplest next step is to write down two numbers: how many people need access, and how many profiles you will connect within a year. Those two figures turn the tables above into your own total, and a free ContentStudio trial lets you test the same team and the same accounts on a plan-based tool before you decide. The pricing page states that no credit card is required to start.
Agorapulse’s trial starts with 15 days on Advanced, with an optional 15-day extension available within 90 days of starting. It begins with one user seat, but additional team members can be invited at no extra cost during the trial. Up to 10 profiles and six competitors are included. When comparing it with ContentStudio’s seven-day trial, test the same workflow and calculate the paid subscription your team would need afterward.
No. Agorapulse’s help center states that X profiles covered by an X Lite or X Plus add-on do not count toward the total number of social profiles. They are billed through their own add-on instead.
Agorapulse accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal.Bank transfer requires an Advanced annual plan with at least two users and an annual contract value of at least $3,576, or a Custom annual plan worth at least $6,000.
Agorapulse retries the charge on days 2, 5, 8, and 12. The subscription is cancelled if the invoice is still unpaid after the 12th day.
No. Agorapulse states that it does not support early renewals or prepayments, and the next invoice is generated only at the start of the next billing period.
For the configurations compared here, yes. Ten users on Agorapulse Professional cost $14,280 a year before extra profile charges. ContentStudio Agency Unlimited costs $1,188 a year with unlimited users and 25 social accounts, a $13,092 annual difference. Features differ, but ContentStudio’s team-access cost is substantially lower.
